Who sends the texts

Werknen sends text messages on behalf of the home-service shop you contacted. The texts come from that shop’s own local number and are about your request to that shop.

What we text you about

• Appointment confirmations, reminders and changes
• On-the-way notices when a technician heads to you
• A text back when your call to the shop was missed
• Replies to a question or request you sent the shop
• Links to your estimate or invoice, and follow-ups on an open estimate
• A review request after a job
• Membership renewal notices, if you have a membership with the shop
• Service reminders and seasonal offers, only if you reply YES to the shop’s invitation

How you agree to texts

You agree to receive these texts when you call or text the shop and ask for service, or when you tick the consent box on the shop’s booking or request form. We keep a record of your consent.

Service reminders and seasonal offers are separate: you get them only if you reply YES when the shop invites you by text. Reply STOP at any time to end them.

Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from the shop.

Message frequency varies with your appointments and requests.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Stop or get help

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. You will get one message confirming it, and no more texts from that shop’s number unless you reply START.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the providers that deliver our messages (such as our phone carrier).
