Privacy

This website

• No tracking cookies, no analytics beacons, no third-party scripts of any kind.
• No consent banner, because nothing non-essential is ever set.
• You send us details here only by email (contact@werknen.com), or through the sign-up or notify form when the site shows one; nothing you send is shared or sold.

What we collect

• When you ask to be notified or sign up: your name, business, email and mobile number.
• When you buy: your account and billing details. Payment runs through Stripe; we never see your card.
• For your phone line: the state of the phone account we set up for your shop.
• We do not collect your shop’s customer records. Those stay on your shop’s private server.

The product (your server)

• Every shop has its own dedicated server; customer data never sits in a shared database. It is encrypted at rest with keys on that server.
• Backups are encrypted on your server before upload. Their keys are protected in a hardware security module and can only be unlocked by a verified, working Werknen system for your shop. Every unlock is logged.
• We hold no buyer credentials. The one credential we issue is the Twilio subaccount key for your shop, delivered after mutual authentication, never logged, never shared across shops. (Self-hosted: you bring your own Twilio account.)
• Your data is yours: export it any time; on cancellation a full export is emailed to you.

The three disclosed exceptions

• The phone call itself crosses your carrier (Twilio); that is the product’s function.
• An optional frontier language model through your own API key (your choice), for text work only, never during a live call.
• Carrier-layer call and text records live in the Twilio subaccount we set up for your shop: isolated per shop, minimum retention, transferable to you.

Mobile numbers and text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the providers that deliver our messages (such as our phone carrier). We use your mobile number only to send the texts described in our SMS terms, for the shop you contacted, and to keep a record of your consent and any opt-out.
